Burglary

Recently I had a burglary at my house.  Some important and valuble things were stolen, but none more important than my Sony Tablet.  I had a lot of important info on it, including some drafts for my book, blog page, and pictures/videos of my family.

I'm looking forward to getting a new one and backing my information up on a consistant basis.

It's been a while!

Hello everyone! 

I have been away for a while taking care of some very personal things.  However, I do have a lot of good content that I have been journaling.  Lots of those things I need to start publishing here.  My book will be complete this year in spite of any delays that I have allowed in my life thus far. 

I'm purposing in my heart to start putting what I have on paper all ready, on to this site.  Pray for my focus and peace of mind to finish my book "Thorn in the Flesh" this year. 

I remember asking myself and the Lord before I went into the hospital two years ago; "Lord why can't I finish my book?"  The answer at that time was that I had some more chapters in my life to add.  Late, I don't know if these obstacles in my life are chapters that will eventually help others or just excuses for not being disciplined or dedicated enough to an calling/effort that could one day deliver and help many.  I may have answered my own question! All these things that I'm going through, whether in my mind or in reality are not (just) about me.  It's not about me.

"Lord, What is this thorn in my flesh?" Chapter 8: Gambling

Today I interviewed people with gambling addictions. I believe and know from experience the effects gambling has on an individual, family, finances, and communities. I spent almost a year battling this Thorn in the Flesh.  I hope that this chapter can help prevent and deliver others from this curse, and realize Gods plan for your life.  When you feel like there's no one there for you, or even to help you in a time of financial need.  You must realize that He is! He is Jehovah Jireh!

I have a few more interviews with some Pastors and then I will complete this chapter soon.
